Special issue: Reliability and Quality Management in Information Sciences

A special issue of the International Journal of Information and Management Sciences (IJIMS) will be published for the selected papers presented in 2018 Asia-Pacific International Symposium on Advanced Reliability and Maintenance Modeling (APARM 2018) and 2018 International Conference on Quality, Reliability, Risk, Maintenance, and Safety Engineering (QR2MSE 2018) held in Qingdao, Shandong, China, August 21-24, 2018. In this special issue, we focus on the challenges in reliability and quality management from the aspect of information sciences. The submission to the special issue should be an extended version of the original conference paper. Minor extensions and no-show papers with no registration payment will not be considered. Authors should submit their manuscripts (as Word (.doc, .docx)) to the Guest Editors via email before the submission deadline. Submitted papers should not have previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. Topics of interest for APARM 2018 & QR2MSE 2018 include, but are not limited to:

Important Dates:

l   September 15, 2018: Paper submission due for the special issue

l   January 31, 2018: Revision due in the first round of review

l   May 1, 2019: Revision due in the second round of review

l   May 15, 2019: Notification of acceptance/rejection of the special issue papers
